Little Extras

  • A hamper full of goodies await your arrival, including a home baked cake (let us know if you have a preference!), local free range eggs, milk, sausages from the nearby farm shop, tea, coffee and a bottle of the local, prize winning Camel Valley Wine – just enough to revive you after a long journey.
  • If you want to do an online shop before you leave home then we can unpack for you (Tesco and Sainsbury deliver).
  • Tell us in advance if you need transfers from the station 20 minutes away in St. Austell and we can arrange that.
  • Or if you need any advice on restaurant recommendations we can help.
  • If you need any cots, stair gates or high chairs let us know. We know sometimes it’s hard to squeeze everything into the car!
  • Supplies of books and kids stuff are available to keep everyone happy!
  • In the chillier months we’ll provide you with a starter pack of kindling and wood for the wood burner.
  • Laundry Service. Who wants to do washing on holiday? Although there are washer driers in each cottage, let us do the dirty work and for £5.00 per load clothes will be washed, dried, folded and returned to your cottage. An iron and ironing board are in the cottages.
  • Cleaning Service – Cottages are serviced and replenished with fresh towels for bookings over 8 nights.
  • Food. There are a number of supermarkets and good restaurants within a short drive of the manor. Alternatively, if you are arriving late in the day we can prepare a light supper for you to have in your cottage. Reasonable notice is required and meals are subject to availability. The price is £17.00 per head. Please contact us for further details.
  • Running and cycling.  We’re lucky enough to have loads of great running and cycling routes around us.  No matter what distance or terrain you want to run or cycle we can recommend a route for you.
